Day 1 Alice Springs/Uluru (1L,1D)
Meet in Alice Springs at 5:45am and travel to the Red Centre. Visit the Aboriginal Cultural Centre and do the informative Mala Walk around part of Uluru's base. Catch the sunset over Uluru before heading to the campground for the night. Camp under the stars of the night sky—the only way to really experience the Outback.
Day 2 Kata Tjuta/Kings Creek Station (1B,1L,1D)
Watch the sunrise over Uluru, then enjoy a walk through the Valley of the Winds in Kata Tjuta. Continue onto Kings Creek Station for another night around the campfire.
Day 3 Kings Canyon/Alice Springs (1B,1L)
Hike the awe-inspiring Kings Canyon, then stop by a camel farm for an optional camel ride en route back to Alice Springs.
Day 4 The Ghan Train
Ride the rails on the famous Ghan Train—named for Afghan cameleers. Glide through the remote outback en route to the subtropical top end of Australia.
Day 5 Darwin
Stop at Katherine Gorge. Opt for a flat-bottomed boat trip or a walk before continuing onto Darwin.

Day 6 Darwin/Kakadu National Park (1L,1D)
Depart from Darwin at 6:30am, then it's off to spot crocs on a boat cruise. Visit an Aboriginal crafts centre for the local interpretation of the meaning behind their intricate crafts then continue onto Kakadu NP.
Day 7 Kakadu National Park/Litchfield National Park (1B,1L,1D)
Explore the waterfalls, swimming holes and trails of Kakadu NP—a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 8 Litchfield National Park/Darwin (1B,1L)
Guided tour to Litchfield NP to encounter streams, rock formations and the impressive magnetic termite mounds. Tour ends in Darwin upon arrival in the evening, please book departure flights after 8pm.
FOR TRIPS DEPARTING NOVEMBER THROUGH APRIL
Day 6 Darwin/Litchfield NP (1L,1D)
Depart from Darwin at 6:30am, an early start to take advantage of time in Litchfield National Park. Visit the Florence and Tolmer Falls and cool off with a swim. Visit the Buley Rockhole and see the spectacular giant termite mounds before continuing on to the Adelaide River for a croc cruise.
Day 7 Kakadu NP (1B,1L,1D)
Cross into Kakadu National Park and visit an Aboriginal cultural centre, learn about some rock art and hike down to a breathtaking gorge with various pools.
Day 8 Kakadu NP/Darwin (1B,1L,1D)
Get an early start to visit Gunlom Falls for a walk and a swim before visiting the beautiful Ikoymarrwa for a swim, a site accessible only with a special permit. Tour ends in Darwin upon arrival in the evening, please book departure flights after 8pm.
